The conference will be opened by the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing, Nicola Sturgeon.

Abstract Submission for Poster Presentations
The organising committee encourages submission of telehealth & telecare abstracts for poster presentations at the conference. We would particularly welcome those that demonstrate evidence of cost-effectiveness.
Abstract submission is invited electronically via the link on the left which contains guidance for content & submission. There will be prize for the best poster which will be awarded on the afternoon of Day 2 of the conference.

Carbon Reduction Initiatives
The Conference is adhering to the following carbon reduction initiatives:
* Using environmentally friendly delegate bags which are reusable and biodegradable
* Using recycled paper
* Actively recycling leftover delegate materials after the conference
* Actively encouraging car sharing to help delegates save money and running costs whilst reducing carbon footprints.
and will donate £1 from every delegate fee to a carbon offsetting scheme.
