EHTEL Networking Event at conhIT 2012 / NZ White Paper Launch

Moving towards eHealth 2020 in Europe and beyond: Linking policies and practice: Moving towards an era of digital health, eHealth agendas must link policy and practice. Starting from key principles of the Digital Agenda for Europe, the EU Directive on patient rights in cross-border healthcare and plans for eHealth 2020, the discussion identified what is needed in Europe and the Member States to implement meaningful eHealth services in health and social care. Lessons learned in New Zealand provided a global perspective to this discussion: The i.e. the New Zealand Ministry of Health presented it's recent White Paper “Better Information for Better Care – New Zealand’s Approach to Efficient and Affordable Care” bringing together Lessons learned there and in Europe [see below for download options].
