10th Anniversary (22 October 2009):  EHTEL kindly thanks all speakers and participants of the symposium "Joining for Visions of Person Centred Health", jointly organised with EESC on 21-22 October 2009 in Brussels, Belgium, on the occasion of the  association’s tenth anniversary. Read more

New Task Force (3 June 2009):  EHTEL launches a new "Innovation & Society" Task Force to focus on privacy issues related to the latest eHealth and Telemedicine innovations. A first related workshop "Security and privacy challenges in personalised healthcare for the 21st Century" will be co-organised on 29 June 2009 as part of the HealthGrid conference in Berlin, Germany . New Briefing Paper (27 April 2009):  EHTEL released its 10th Anniversary Briefing Paper, "Reflections on a Decade of eHealth - the second stage in Healthcare Transformation".  The paper traverses three stages of eHealth (discovery, acceptance and deployment) and sketches the future of IT in healthcare.  Read more.

     Recent Keynote Presentations and Meetings

    • Telemedicine Task Force (1/2 April 2009):  The EHTEL Task Force Telemedicine and Chronic Disease Management organised an open session at Med-e-Tel on 1 April and met on 2 April in Luxembourg for a half day of presentations, engaging discussions and networking.  Participation in this task force is open to all EHTEL members.  The next meeting will take place in May, details soon to be announced.  Read more.
    • Med-e-Tel Luxembourg (1 April 2009): EHTEL was present at Med-e-Tel in Luxembourg.  Martin Denz, EHTEL President, presented a keynote on "The Three Ages of eHealth" before an engaged audience.
